So after the debacle at Newcastle last weekend, we somehow find ourselves closer to the top of the table. With the Manchester derby also on this weekend, we have a real chance to gain even more ground at the top.
Wolves arrive in London in high spirits and will be looking to back up last weekend’s surprise win over Manchester United. Wenger has said that he won't be resting any of his stars but I feel that Song and Djourou, two players returning from injuries will be given the day off with the Barcelona game around the corner. Robin van Persie is also a doubt having missed international duty with flu. Diaby begins his suspension, Rosicky is out due to a groin strain with Nasri and Vermaelen still out.
Arsenal are unbeaten in their last 16 meetings with Wolves in all competitions and long may that sequence go. I expect a nervy game but a valuable win and three points gained for Arsenal. Then again, after last weekend, we could be five nil up and I would still be thinking it is a nervy game. Supporting Arsenal is not making me any younger.
